To celebrate my authors’ incredible books and to give back to the writing community, I’m excited to announce my first annual raffle. Three writers will be selected for a free first-chapter analysis of their draft manuscript.
The analysis will offer feedback on your book’s hook, concept, early character development, character goals, introduction of the story problem, establishment of the beginning world, writing style, etc. I will provide comments on the direction I think the story is going and offer specific, actionable suggestions to strengthen the first chapter and story moving forward.

To enter the raffle drawing, email me at GetCarriedAwayEditing@gmail.com and let me know which book(s) you ordered and that you posted an honest review on Amazon. I’d also love to hear about your draft manuscript.
Raffle entries are cumulative; you’ll receive an entry for each book ordered and review posted through June 30. For books ordered and reviewed after June 30, you will be entered in the 2027 raffle.
I will hold the drawings on May 1, June 1, and July 1, 2026, and be in touch with each winner to discuss their book and when to schedule their free first-chapter analysis.
